To emphasize the streak of salmon-pink that runs through the opal, the earrings are set in 18k Rose Gold in forms inspired by the Azores, the Portuguese volcanic island chain that emerges from the Atlantic Ocean, capturing vivid crater lakes at their peaks. The gold takes on the subtle texture of the Azorean landscape surrounding the lakes.
