Akoya pearls are typically found as perfectly spherical white pearls that have a remarkably sharp luster. These baroque Akoyas are a very unusual, organic shape, but they feature the same sharp luster for which Akoyas are prized. The result is extraordinary.⁠

Last week, after photographing these earrings on my ear for the website, I went to get Caden out of his crib. First thing he said was "EarDings. Pretty. More?". ⁠

These EarDings are VERY pretty and no, there aren't more--These are One-of-a-Kind!⁠

The center stone you see here is a salt and pepper cabochon cut diamond (1.43ctw) surrounded by custom cut diamond baguettes (0.45ctw). Yup. These studs are ALL diamond, ALL day! ⁠

With a band made up of 0.20-carats of custom cut baguette diamonds, the ring is elegantly timeless.

It can be hard to imagine all of the tiny pieces of gold that need to come together to create a flawless finished piece and when the stones you are working with have a girdle (the outer most facet that gives the overall silhouette of the stone) that moves up and down with every facet, building a basket to hold the gem can DEFINITELY be a challenge! ⁠

These amethyst earrings took lots of planning and math to create a seat for the stones that would allow the gems to sit JUST right. I think the finished product was worth all of the mind bending!! *chefs kiss*⁠
