It can be hard to imagine all of the tiny pieces of gold that need to come together to create a flawless finished piece and when the stones you are working with have a girdle (the outer most facet that gives the overall silhouette of the stone) that moves up and down with every facet, building a basket to hold the gem can DEFINITELY be a challenge! ⁠

These amethyst earrings took lots of planning and math to create a seat for the stones that would allow the gems to sit JUST right. I think the finished product was worth all of the mind bending!! *chefs kiss*⁠

It can be hard to imagine all of the tiny pieces of gold that need to come together to create a flawless finished piece and when the stones you are working with have a girdle (the outer most facet that gives the overall silhouette of the stone) that moves up and down with every facet, building a basket to hold the gem can DEFINITELY be a challenge! ⁠

These amethyst earrings took lots of planning and math to create a seat for the stones that would allow the gems to sit JUST right. I think the finished product was worth all of the mind bending!! *chefs kiss*⁠

This custom necklace was created in celebration of 11 years of marriage. Turquoise, the traditional gift for the 11th Anniversary, was used as a centerpiece in this one of a kind pendant.⁠

Selecting a 15.11-carat green turquoise from Arizona with an asymmetrical oval form, we surrounded the gem with a bezel of platinum set with an outward-facing halo of 0.71-carats of baguette diamonds. The diamonds provide a bit of subtle glamour and allow for the pendant to be worn with either side facing forward without losing its sparkling appeal.

One of my most recent custom designs features 6.34-Carats of oval Imperial Topaz gemstones that have been bezel set in 18k yellow gold half-spheres. The closed back setting is polished to a high shine on the inside, allowing light to refract beautifully within the stones.⁠

The Imperial Topaz is suspended from 18k yellow gold studs featuring a modern leaf motif.⁠

Two people I absolutely adore are engaged and I had the incredible honor of making their ring (complete with custom cut black spinel, platinum floral details in the basket, princess cut diamond diamonds, and a personalized hand engraved message~!). ⁠

I will admit that I have been plotting a Deco inspired ring for this Bride-to-Be for 18 years (!!!!) and I could not be more excited that the day has come that she is wearing one of my finest creations on her hand. 💙
