Metro President of the Women's Jewelry Association

Last week, at the WJA Holiday Party, I was officially named President of the Metro Chapter. For the next two years, I will have the honor of leading the largest and best chapter of WJA. I promise that I will do my part to support and champion the mission of the organization: To advance the women of the jewelry and watch industry through education, mentorship, leadership development, and community building.

I take my commitment to this organization very seriously, even if most of my memories and feelings about WJA are filled with laughter and smiles. The women and men who are a part of this organization are my peers, my friends, and my industry family. Over the last few years of being involved with WJA, I have transitioned from jobless to corporate employed to starting my own brand. Through all of the twists and turns I have been fortunate enough to rely on this community for support, guidance, and laughs. It will be my absolute honor to lead this chapter, help others find their legs through their career and life transitions, and nurture the relationships that allow us all to become better, stronger, and more capable together.

Special thank you to my dear friend and President Elect @olgagonzaleznyc whose passion for the organization is absolutely contagious; to @laurenelizabethnyc Jenny Luker @saraeyo @amandagizzi and Karen Sampieri for all of your current (and future) guidance; to the outgoing @wjanewyorkmetro board, as well as the incoming board and committee members who are going to do such amazing things together.

I am so excited and grateful for this opportunity.
