Alexandrite and Diamond Pear-Shaped Earrings

These custom earrings feature a gorgeous medley of playful gemstones. Designed in 18k yellow gold, the earrings form a pear-shape arrayed with 0.44-carats of pear-shaped Yellow Diamonds, 0.09-carats of round brilliant cut gray diamonds, and 0.16-carats of round brilliant cut white diamonds burnished into the surface of the drop earring.
 
The gemstones taking center stage are a pair of 0.80ctw Alexandrite elongated pear-shaped gems (measuring 7.8x3.2mm. Brazilian Origin). The Alexandrite are remarkable for their color-chage affect--green in daylight equivalent lighting and transforming to a rich violet in incandescent light.
