This heirloom ring refresh alters the aquamarine ring to make it more wearable.
 
The original ring featured two diamond baguettes on either side of the aquamarine. These diamonds were replaced by sapphires to add another tone of blue and enhance the saturation of the aquamarine.
 
By adding a wider base to the platinum band that counter balances the weight of the aquamarine, the ring can be worn comfortably without spinning on the finger.
