The Enstatite (Hypersthene) Teardrop Earrings are one-of-a-kind and feature the fingerprint pattern for which hypersthene is known.
 
The word "hypersthene" comes from the Greek word for "over strength," no doubt alluding to the hardness of the stone (6 on the Mohs scale). It is a stone associated with recovering from illness and is known as the "stone of rest". Hypersthene gemstones consist of magnesium and iron silicate.
 
The earrings are made in 18k Yellow Gold with a matte satin finish.
