This custom features a breathtaking 16.26-carat oval Zambian Emerald set in 18k yellow gold. 
 
The ring is designed with a cup-shaped basket that cradles the emerald and displays the stunning gemstone such that it rises above the basket from the side view. With rounded double prongs holding the emerald in place, these functional elements transform into a design feature as they travel in parallel lines down the exterior of the basket and merge into the basket near the finger.
