The Oval Opal in Chalcedony Earrings are one-of-a-kind.
 
It's magical when two gemstones grow side by side and within each other. In these beautiful oval drops, we see opal growing in chalcedony, a cryptocrystalline variety of quartz.
 
A cryptocrystalline gemstone is made up of minute crystals that are so small they can only be seen with a microscope. This feature gives chalcedony remarkable strength and a beautiful polished glow that pairs beautifully with opal's ethereal beauty.
 
Each gemstone displays a unique color zoning that shows the place where opal and chalcedony meet. They have been custom shaped into matching oval forms.
 
The earrings are made in 18k Yellow Gold with a matte satin finish and include 26.54-carats total weight of opal in chalcedony.
