Using the inspiration of Art Deco design, this platinum engagement ring features a halo of custom cut black spinel, bevel cut and designed to frame the emerald cut diamond. The halo is offset by an elegant double row of platinum millegrain detail. With Princess Cut Diamonds set on the bias at east and west of the basket as a nod to the engagement ring the bride-to-be's mother wears, the interest of this ring lies in the details. 
 
In the space under the basket, the bridegroom has included details from the couple's walks through nature with Art Nouveau stylized flowers and vines holding the ring in place. Inside the band is a custom hand-engraving, personal to the couple. It reads "My Lizard Queen" in script.
 
The platinum setting features handmade millegrain detail to add sparkle.
